Following a precautionary inspection this morning, the track at Limerick was found to be fit for racing and the fixture scheduled for today goes ahead.
The ground remains heavy following 5mm of rain overnight with fresh ground on the Hurdle track. The forecast for today is to be mainly dry with a strong wind at present.
The feature race of the day is the Grade 2 BoyleSports Sporting Limerick Hurdle, which is at 1.30pm and can be seen on RTÉ2's live Leopardstown coverage.
