The Juddmonte Irish Oaks is the highlight of an eight-race card in the Curragh on Saturday.

The betting suggests Snowfall will follow up her Epsom romp with a comfortable victory.

The supporting card looks well up to scratch. High temperatures and clear skies should ensure the ground rides fast.

1.10pm: Juddmonte Farms Irish EBF Maiden

Shark Bay looked green on debut over this course and distance last month. He showed plenty of boot when the penny dropped to finish a very close third. Expect an improved effort here. He will prove hard to beat. Almanera looks the most interesting newcomer on show.

Selection: Shark Bay 13-8

1.45pm: Dingle Whiskey Nursery

Admiral D looks on a fair mark for his handicap debut. The form of his Listowel win on penultimate start is working out well. He ran respectably in Royal Ascot last time out. That run came in stakes company. A repeat of that effort could well prove good enough back in these calmer waters. Cherry Blossom looks to have been given a chance by the handicapper.

Selection: Admiral D 15-8

2.20pm: Jebel Ali Racecourse Anglesey Stakes

Beauty Inspire looked a horse of some potential when making a winning debut at this track last month. There have been mixed messages about that form since but he did beat some well touted opponents. He rates a confident selection to take the step up in grade here. Hadman is a likeable, progressive sort. He should put in another solid shift.

Selection: Beauty Inspire 11-10

2.50pm: Paddy Power Sapphire Stakes

Romantic Proposal looks a solid each-way play here. Easier ground is probably optimal but she did produce a career best effort on good ground last time out. The way she travelled that day suggests the drop to five furlongs shouldn't inconvenience. Logo Hunter is greatly feared. He just seems too short in the betting for such a competitive heat.

Selection: Romantic Proposal 6-1

3.25pm: Juddmonte Irish Oaks

Hard to oppose Snowfall. Her Oaks win is head and shoulders above anything achieved by the opposition here. Given the steep upward trajectory her career has taken this season, another improved performance is feasible. Nicest is steadily progressive. A repeat of her placed effort in Royal Ascot might be good enough to secure the silver medal.

Selection: Snowfall 2-7

4pm: Paddy Power Scurry Handicap

Gulliver looks almost certain to run well. He competes here off a four-pound lower mark than when just touched off in last year's renewal. His fine performance in Royal Ascot last time out suggests his powers remain undiminished. Marbling was well backed for a handicap here last month. She had no luck that day. This drop in trip probably isn't ideal but she remains well treated.

Selection: Gulliver 6-1

4.35pm: Kildare Village Ladies Derby

This handicap features a very short-priced favourite. It's easy to see why the layers are running scared. Zoffanien is a talented, consistent sort ridden by an experienced jockey. His exploits over hurdles last season suggests his flat mark is workable. There's a paucity of credible opposition here. Share The Honour has a squeak if on a going day.

Selection: Zoffanien 5-4

5.10pm: Aquaturf Handicap

No obviously well-handicapped horses in this race. The seven pounds Hector De Maris got for finishing second in stakes company last time out looks harsh. He does have potential stepping up in trip mind you. He should also enjoy a class edge. Those factors just about tip the balance in his favour. Ever Present arrives here on a hat trick. He should go close.

Selection: Hector De Maris 10-3
