Leading racehorse trainer Gordon Elliott has said he is "cooperating fully" with the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB) following an image circulated on social media.
A photo of a man sitting on a horse lying on the ground emerged on social media and the IHRB has launched an investigation.
"The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board are aware of an image circulating on social media and the matter is under investigation," the regulatory body confirmed.
Elliott, who is preparing his runners for next month's Cheltenham Festival, has been approached for comment, but posted on his Twitter account that he has spoken to the IHRB.
"I'm aware of a photo in circulation on social media," he said.
"The IHRB (Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board) have been in contact with me regarding this photo and I will be cooperating fully with their investigation."
