Thursday's race meeting at Clonmel has been called off after a morning inspection, the Irish Horse Racing Regulatory Board has confirmed.
The track was found to be frozen in places and deemed unfit for racing, with officials subsequently cancelling the day's fixture schedule.
"Following an inspection this morning, the track at Clonmel was found to be frozen in places and therefore unfit for racing," the IHRB said in a statement.
"The fixture scheduled for today, 7 January 2021, has been cancelled."
The seven-race card had been due to begin at 12.50pm with the Kilsheelan Mares Maiden Hurdle.
Meanwhile, Saturday's seven-race card at Fairyhouse is in doubt.
An inspection will take place at noon on Friday to ascertain the viability of the following day's action going ahead.
The track is currently deemed unfit for racing after a covering of snow and frost overnight.
