Officials at Fairyhouse will hold a precautionary inspection ahead of Sunday's race meeting, the Irish Horse Racing Board have said.
Due to the risk of frost overnight, officials will carry out an inspection at 8am to ascertain the viability of the seven-race card going ahead.
Should it get the green light, the Fairyhouse action will begin at 12.40pm with the Happy New Year From All At Fairyhouse Maiden Hurdle, while the grade three John & Chich Fowler Memorial EBF Mares Chase will take place at 2.50pm.
Saturday's meeting at Cork also underwent a morning inspection before being given the go-ahead.
