Following a precautionary inspection this morning, Punchestown is fit for racing and the fixture scheduled for today and will go ahead as planned.
The inspection was called due to a fear of heavy overnight frost but the ground was found to be in raceable condition this morning.
The ground remains heavy. The forecast is for a possibility of snow this morning, with rain and sleet through the afternoon.
