12.45 pm Langton Hotel Handicap Hurdle
The locally trained Dubheen responded well to first time cheekpieces in Punchestown last time. He will need more here but is far from exposed, and the softer ground should bring his stamina into play. Capture The Action continues to run well without winning. He's feared most.

1.20 pm Red Mills Maiden Hurdle
Henry Brown caused something of a surprise when winning on debut in Fairyhouse. That bumper worked out pretty well. We must take his jumping on trust. He's from a stamina laden family so the extra four furlongs should help. Aione has to concede weight to a couple of interesting sorts here. It's still likely that whatever beats him will be winning.

1.50 pm Galmoy Hurdle
Benie Des Dieux makes her belated seasonal comeback. Pulled muscles kept her off the track over Christmas. Her star is in the ascendancy. She should continue to rise here. Apple's Jade is on the downgrade. She can still provide stubborn resistance though.

2.25 pm Adare Manor Handicap Hurdle:
Eleazar Des Neiges landed some nice bets in Limerick last time. The handicapper appears to have taken a chance with his mark. This unexposed sort can take advantage and make all here. Abraham was wildly impressive in Naas. A 12-pound hike in the weights should soften his cough. He's feared nonetheless.

3pm Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase:
Smoking Gun has a lovely unexposed profile. His jumping is a touch concerning. I'm very hopeful he can rise to the occasion. He looks to have bottomless stamina, and to be well handicapped. The list of potential dangers is a long one. Dounikos is hard to catch right. On a going day he has the ability to win here.

3.35 pm Daly Farrell Beginners Chase:
Capuccimix took a clumsy early fall last time. He previously looked smart when chasing home a talented sort in Navan. If avoiding mishap he looks the safest play here. Coquin Mans has had problems. He did jump well on chase debut in Fairyhouse. His back class must be noted.

4.10 pm P.J.Foley Memorial Flat Race:
Not much to go on here. Light Brigade appeals on pedigree. Market support would be most encouraging. Homme D'un Soir is Gordon Elliot's representative. As such he's accorded plenty of respect.
