12.10 Adare Manor Handicap Chase
Onefortheroadtom makes considerable appeal and it looks an excellent bit of placing by connections. This horse is used to plying his trade in much higher grade. Off the same mark as when second at the Punchestown festival he looks sure to go well here. Charlie Stout continues in good form and should run well too.

12.45 Pigsback.com Maiden Hurdle
This looks a hot race for the grade. The Big Getaway enjoyed a big reputation before making his bumper debut. Things didn't go totally to plan, but he showed enough ability to suggest a bright future over obstacles and certainly has the physical attributes for the job. January Jets showed plenty on hurdles debut and should step up again here with the extra distance a positive.

13.20 Advent Insurance Mares Hurdle
Stormy Island has form that ties in closely with some of the top mares seen in recent years. This looks an easier assignment and could well take advantage. Stablemante Elfile is however on an upward curve and can chase the selection home.

1355 Neville Insurance Novice Chase
A mouthwatering race in prospect here. Battleoverdoyen has put his impressive physical gifts to good use in two starts over the larger obstacles. He's a worthy favourite to complete the hat-trick. Carefully Selected put in an indifferent round of jumping on fencing bow. He will be sharper for the experiece, and shouldn't be far away.

1430 Matheson Hurdle
Klassical Dream fluffed his comeback lines in Punchestown. The memory of his performances in the spring this year still burn bright though. He can put his Champion Hurdle claims back on the straight and narrow. Coeur Sublime seems to have ironed out his jumping issues and that makes him a formidable foe.

Mister Fogpatches is an improving type. He faces others of a similar ilk here, though his less fashionable connections may be a factor in his price. Can he back up his Navan win? The connections of Cavalry Master have been the height of fashion this week. They look to have strong claims again.

The form of Eric Bloodaxe's Fairyhouse win suffered a bit of a blow on the third day of the Leopardstown Christmas meeting. The visual impression he created that day is hard to ignore all the same. He can take care of Wide Reciever.
