Colin Keane brought up a century of winners for the season with a double at Navan and is refusing to give up his Flat title fight just yet.
Keane rode Nullifier to victory for his boss Ger Lyons in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden and doubled up on Sea Ducor in the www.navanracecourse.ie Handicap to keep up the pressure on current champion Donnacha O'Brien.
O'Brien responded by winning the Like Navan On Facebook Handicap on All The King's Men and he is four winners ahead.
After O'Brien claimed the crown Keane had won the previous season, the Group One-winning jockey would love to win it back
"That's great. I'm thrilled to have got to 100. Win, lose or draw it has been a great season for me," said Keane.
"The target I set myself at the start of every season is to beat the previous year's tally, so last year I had 84 and I have beaten that.
"I reached 100 on the final day two years ago, so to have reached it again with a few days to spare is great. We had a Group One (Siskin) along the way too, so all in all, it has been a great year."
When asked if he can win the title, he added: "There are plenty of races still to play for and I will give it a lash."
