Raa Atoll remains on course for a tilt at the Comer Group International Irish St Leger.
The son of Sea The Stars won twice last season when trained by John Gosden, and went on to finish fourth in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He changed hands for the relatively modest fee of 30,000 guineas last October, and made a flying start for his new owner-trainer Luke Comer when landing a Group Two in Germany in May - beating a fellow Irish raider in the Willie Mullins-trained Thomas Hobson.
The four-year-old was a shade disappointing when sixth in the Belmont Gold Cup on his next start, but bounced back to form by finishing third in the Curragh Cup in the hands of Frankie Dettori at the end of June - and has since enjoyed a mid-season break.
Comer's assistant, Jim Gorman, said: "All going well, we're heading for the Irish Leger. He gave himself a little knock, but he's fine now and he'd had a hard enough time going to Germany and back and America and back, so we were aiming for an autumn campaign anyway.
"We're looking forward to going back to the Curragh with him."
The form of Raa Atoll's latest effort has been well advertised since, with the runner-up Latrobe winning the Ballyroan Stakes at Leopardstown, the fourth Southern France landing the Irish St Leger Trial and the fifth, Mustajeer, winning the £1million Ebor.
"The form of his last race has worked out well. He beat Aidan's horse who won the Leger Trial (Southern France) and the Ger Lyons horse who won the Ebor," Gorman added.
"A bit of ease in the ground for the Leger would help."
