Rejuvenated Arctic Flyer to stay over hurdles

Arctic Fire is likely to be kept over hurdles for the time being by his relatively new trainer Denis Cullen.

Cullen was sent the 2015 Champion Hurdle runner-up after he had initially been retired by owner Nick Peacock and Willie Mullins.

However, his injury healed and Cullen felt there was still life in the nine-year-old and he proved that by winning at Cork last time out.

"I haven't schooled him over fences yet and there isn't anything for him for a couple of weeks, so we'll mull things over, but I'd imagine he'll stay over hurdles for the moment," said Cullen.

"I'll probably give him a go in a graded hurdle and see if he can be competitive at this stage and then decide if he could jump a fence."
