Without Parole claimed his fourth victory from as many starts with a clear-cut success in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
John Gosden's Frankel colt completed his hat-trick in the Listed Heron Stakes at Sandown last month, but faced a significant step up in class for this Group One test, with 2000 Guineas runner-up Tip Two Win and Irish 2,000 Guineas hero Romanised among his rivals.
US Navy Flag cut out much of the running, but his early exertions were starting to take their toll racing inside the final two furlongs and 9-4 favourite Without Parole quickened up to lead in the hands of Frankie Dettori.
Gustav Klimt came from further back and attempted to close the gap, but Without Parole was always doing enough to hold him at bay. French challenger Wootton narrowly beat Tip To Win to third place.
Gosden and Dettori had teamed up earlier in the day to land the Coventry Stakes with 2-1 favourite Calyx, and they went on to complete a treble when Monarchs Glen (8-1) left a disappointing effort in Dubai behind to claim the concluding Listed Wolferton Stakes by a length.
Dettori, who picked up a seven-day whip ban for his efforts on Without Parole - which means he is set to miss the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown - and a £4,300 fine, said: "I was afraid of Ryan (Moore, on US Navy Flag) when he got those three lengths in the straight, as I know what a good horse he is.
"I went all guns blazing after him and a furlong and a half out I found myself in front with nobody to help me. I was rowing like in the boat race on the Thames to get to the line.
"It made a man of him and what a good little horse he is. A trip to the Downs (Goodwood) for the Sussex might be an option."
Of his treble, he said: "A fantastic day for the whole team. To have three winners in a week is amazing. To have three winners on the first day is fantastic."
Blue Point wore down Battaash to claim top honours in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The five-furlong sprint was billed as a match between the Charlie Hills-trained Battaash and Wesley Ward's defending champion Lady Aurelia, who was bidding for a third Royal Ascot victory overall.
Battaash, who has played up in the preliminaries previously, was perfectly well behaved on this occasion and flew out of the stalls once the gates opened to take the early lead.
With Lady Aurelia failing to pick up, Battaash briefly looked to have cut loose racing inside the final two furlongs.
However, Charlie Appleby's Blue Point (6-1) managed to reel him in late on and was well on top at the line under William Buick, scoring by a length and three-quarters.
Battaash just held on for second place, ahead of Mabs Cross in third.
Accidental Agent was a shock winner of the Queen Anne Stakes.
Trained by Eve Johnson Houghton, the four-year-old was a largely unconsidered 33-1 shot for the Group One contest over the straight mile, having finished sixth behind the reopposing Rhododendron in last month's Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
With Deauville setting the fractions in front, Charles Bishop took his time aboard Accidental Agent, settling him at the very rear of the field before making his move inside the final three furlongs.
As Rhododendron weakened out of contention, Lockinge runner-up Lightning Spear looked to have every chance of going one better as the post loomed, but he was caught late on by both 20-1 shot Lord Glitters and Accidental Agent.
Like Rhododendron, the well-backed 11-4 favourite Benbatl was disappointing.
Meanwhile Lagostovegas provided Willie Mullins with a fourth victory in the Ascot Stakes.
Ireland's 12-times champion jumps trainer had previously struck gold in the two-and-a-half-mile handicap with Simenon (2012), Clondaw Warrior (2015) and last year's winner Thomas Hobson and this year launched a five-pronged assault.
Dual-purpose mare Lagostovegas, who was sporting a hood for the first time, travelled strongly throughout in the hands of Andrea Atzeni and finished strongly to get up and beat Karen McLintock's Dubawi Fifty by a length.
Mullins was also responsible for the third, fourth and fifth home in Stratum, Chelkar and Whiskey Sour.
