Rachael Blackmore faces a short spell on the sidelines after suffering a broken nose in a fall at Limerick on Sunday.

The former champion Irish conditional jockey sustained the injury when she was brought down on Caliption at the fourth-last flight in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Hurdle.

"She's got a broken nose, nothing more than that. She's going back to the hospital on Wednesday and will have it reassessed. Everything else is fine," said Dr Adrian McGoldrick, senior medical officer to the Irish Turf Club.

"She'll be out for about 10 days, not very long at all."
