Davy Russell has gone to hospital for precautionary x-rays on his left foot following a fall at Thurles.

Russell, currently leading the Irish jumps jockeys' title race with 65 winners, took a nasty tumble from Ronava at the third fence in the Littleton Handicap Chase. 

He was stood down for the rest of the day, missing his last two rides.
