This afternoon's meeting at Wincanton has been abandoned due to a frozen track.
With overnight temperatures having dropped to minus 7C, clerk of the course Barry Johnson was left with no option but to call off the fixture following an early-morning inspection.
Wincanton officials confirmed that the temperature at the Somerset venue was still minus 6C at 6am on Thursday morning, with the situation exacerbated by freezing fog.
