Jockey Jack Kennedy has fractured his fibula following a bad fall at Downpatrick.
The 17-year-old was sent to hospital for precautionary X-rays for a suspected fracture to his right femur after he came to grief during the Scottish Borders Handicap Chase, in which he was riding the Daniel Howard-trained Shane Billy.
Downpatrick course doctor Victoria McCandless confirmed the jockey was also taken to Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital to rule out the possibility of any spinal damage.
However, Kennedy has since taken to Twitter to confirm the damage is limited to a fractured fibula, adding that he "should be back in no time"

He will be keen to return as soon as possible as he has been enjoying a fantastic start to the 2016/17 season.
The Kerry teen is currently top of the jockeys championship with 41 winners - 13 ahead of second-placed Davy Russell.
