Gordon Elliott will head all guns blazing to the Galway Races next week with high hopes for Clarcam in Wednesday's Galway Plate.

Elliott has never won either the prestigious Plate or Hurdle but has come close on several occasions.

Clarcam appears to be his best chance in the former race this year as the dual Grade One-winning chaser will get in off a nice weight due to the presence of Road To Riches - running in the same Gigginstown ownership - at the top of the list.

"I'll run all my horses for the summer and get as many winners as I can, and if I get a winner I'll be delighted," said Elliott.

"Clarcam gets into the Plate and definitely runs. I have a few in the Plate with bits of chances, but he has a bit of class."
