Limato is one of 13 horses declared for the Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on Saturday despite concerns about the ground.
Trainer Henry Candy suggested on Wednesday afternoon that Limato might not run as conditions looked like being too soft for him.
However, with there still being two days to the race, Candy has left him in the Group One contest over a mile.
Other leading contenders standing their ground include Richard Hannon's Toormore, who has usurped Limato as favourite for the race, and the Peter Chapple-Hyam-trained Arod.
Kodi Bear, from Clive Cox's stable, the Charlie Hills-trained Dutch Connection and Marco Botti's talented mare Euro Charline are also in the mix.
John Gosden is triple-handed with Gm Hopkins, Johnny Barnes and Mahsoob, while Roger Varian saddles both Barchan and Belardo.
Ger Lyons' Endless Drama is the sole Irish-trained challenger while the list is completed by Richard Fahey's Gabrial.
The five withdrawals at the 48-hour final declaration stage were Adaay, Cougar Mountain, Estidhkaar, Home Of The Brave and Amazing Maria.
