Dermot Weld is excited about the challenge facing Fascinating Rock in the Tattersalls Gold Cup on Sunday week.

The Champion Stakes winner is again due to meet Breeders' Cup heroine Found, having finished third behind his old rival in the Mooresbridge Stakes last week.

Weld feels his five-year-old usually needs his first run of the season but with another top performer in The Grey Gatsby likely to be in opposition as well, it will be a far from easy task.

"Fascinating Rock is in great form and came out of his race really well and hopefully we'll renew our challenge with Found in two weeks," said Weld.

"If The Grey Gatsby turns up, too, it should be a great race.

"He will improve for his last run as he's a hard horse to get fit first time out.

"In my opinion, Found is the best mare in the world and The Grey Gatsby is a great contender as well.

"I imagine the Champion Stakes at the end of the season will be the plan again."
