Dermot Weld has been keen to highlight Tirmizi's "progressive" streak ahead of tomorrow's Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown.
Despite having had just one run, when successful in a Leopardstown maiden in the autumn, the Sea The Stars colt is as low as 16-1 for the Investec Derby at Epsom on 4 June.
Tirmizi now puts his Classic credentials on the line by stepping up in trip and in class for a key Derby Trial.
Weld said: "He's a big horse. The only time he ran was as a two-year-old at Leopardstown, when he won a competitive maiden.
"He's progressive and he wants good ground.
"I think he'll represent us very well."
Jim Bolger won the mile-and-a-quarter Group Three in 2012 with Light Heavy and this time saddles Moonlight Magic and Saafarr, both of whom are owned by Godolphin.
The former looks the stable's big hope, even though he floundered in heavy ground on his comeback over this course and distance in April.
Bolger told www.godolphin.com: "Moonlight Magic is very well and we are happy that he has bounced back into form again.
"We expect a very good run from him."
Aidan O'Brien runs four in a race in which he has a fantastic record. Ryan Moore rides Shogun, Seamie Heffernan is on Idaho, Colm O'Donoghue has the mount on Beacon Rock with Donnacha O'Brien on Lieutenant General.
