Ryanair confirmed as new World Hurdle sponsor

Ryanair are to sponsor the World Hurdle Hurdle at this year's Cheltenham Festival on St Patrick's Day, taking over from Ladbrokes.

The £300,000 Ryanair World Hurdle, a three-mile championship race, is the second Grade 1 race to be sponsored by the airline in addition to the Ryanair Chase, which also takes place on St Patrick’s Thursday which now becomes 'Ryanair Day'.

The 2015 long distance hurdling feature was won by Brian Storey's Cole Harden.
