Officials at Naas have called a precautionary inspection for 8am ahead of Saturday's meeting in the light of a cold forecast overnight.
Freezing temperatures are predicted and not much of a rise throughout the morning is expected.
Clerk of the course Brendan Sheridan said: "The forecasters have told us it is due to get pretty low.
"We can only really be guided by what happens overnight, but we are a bit worried.
"It is supposed to get to minus 3C, but more worryingly is that it is due to keep cold, that's the problem. We'll just have to wait and see.
"It all depends on what happens overnight."
