Royal Lodge winner Foundation heads a small but select field of seven in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster on Saturday.
The unbeaten two-year-old and ante-post favourite for next year's Investec Derby will bid to make it four straight victories and hand his trainer John Gosden a first success in the last British Group One of the season.
Aidan O'Brien will be triple-handed in his quest to win the race for the eighth time.
Spearheading his trio of runners is Royal Lodge runner-up Deauville, who will be joined on Town Moor by stablemates Johannes Vermeer and Port Douglas.
Peter Chapple-Hyam, who has won the race on two occasions, most recently with subsequent Derby winner Authorized back in 2006, will be represented by Marcel.
The field is completed by the Hugo Palmer-trained Mengli Khan, and Tony Curtis, who claimed the Listed Stonehenge Stakes at Salisbury on his last start from the yard of Richard Hannon.
