Air Vice Marshal is Aidan O'Brien's sole remaining entry among 12 horses in contention for Saturday's At The Races Champagne Stakes at Doncaster.

The master of Ballydoyle had a number of horses entered at the previous confirmation stage, but has whittled his team down to just one, with Air Vice Marshal an obvious contender having filled the runner-up spot in the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket in July.

The winner of that Group Two event, Richard Fahey's Birchwood, could also head to Town Moor this weekend.

Mark Johnston has a couple of potential representatives in Beaverbrook and Welford, while Emotionless is set to step up in class for Charlie Appleby following a most impressive debut at Newmarket a month ago.

Roger Varian's Haalick is another once-raced maiden winner and the Charlie Hills-trained Ibn Malik brings solid form to the party after chasing home Galileo Gold in the Vintage Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.

Kasseopia, Kentuckyconnection, Lex Talionis, Mohab and Palawan complete the acceptors.
