German Group One winner Guiliani could be an interesting contender for the Qipco Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown on 12 September.
Trainer by Jean-Pierre Carvalho, the four-year-old has consistently kept good company and hit the mark at the top level in the 10-furlong Grosser Dallmayr-Preis in Munich on his latest start.
Carvalho said: "Guiliani remains a possibility for the Irish Champion Stakes.
"He is also in the Qatar Prix du Moulin over a mile at Longchamp the following day, so I will look at the entries for both races and then decide.
"He is not really a miler - he is better over 2000 metres (a mile and a quarter) - but there might be fewer entries at Longchamp and there is a lot of travel to consider in bringing him to Ireland, where we will face horses of the calibre of Golden Horn and Gleneagles.
"That said, I would very much like to make the trip and I should know by the first Sunday in September whether he goes to France or Ireland."
