Aidan O'Brien expects to know in the next few days whether Tapestry will be fit for action at Royal Ascot.
The four-year-old, who won last year's Yorkshire Oaks, had been in the frame for Saturday's Investec Coronation Cup at Epsom before suffering a hock injury.
Tapestry is entered in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at the Royal meeting but O'Brien will see how quickly the filly recovers before deciding whether or not to head to Berkshire.
He said: "Tapestry strained the back of her hock and it's the kind of thing that either comes right quickly or not.
"We'll know in the next two or three days and if it's not three days and she doesn't make Ascot, it will be the autumn."
