Star fillies Legatissimo and Pleascach were among eight additional entries on Wednesday for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh on 27 June.

The David Wachman-trained Legatissimo landed the Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and is likely to be seen next in the Investec Oaks, while Jim Bolger's easy Naas winner Pleascach remains in the Irish Guineas at the Guineas on Sunday.

Balanchine in 1994 was the last filly to land the Curragh Classic, beating King's Theatre in the hands of Frankie Dettori.

As expected, the Ken Condon-trained Ballysax and Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial winner Success Days joined that pair in being supplemented at a cost of €12,500, with John Gosden's Jack Hobbs another high-profile addition.

French raiders Epicuris, Sumbal and Karaktar were others given the engagement, as was Ralph Beckett's Magic Dancer.
