The rapidly-improving Solow delivered a devastating display to slay his rivals in the Dubai Turf at Meydan.
Maxime Guyon took the Freddy Head-trained grey (9-4) gelding to the front a furlong out and powered clear in the closing stages.
The Kevin Ryan-trained The Grey Gatsby had been reluctant to go into the stalls but stayed on well to take second place without threatening the winner.
Mshawish, ridden by Frankie Dettori, was third.
Guyon said: "It's unbelievable. I knew I was riding a very good horse but you can never know what happens.
"He won so easy. It's my first Group One in Dubai so I'm very happy.
"This is a very good horse."
Head said: "He's a great horse and is improving all the time.
"I knew he was very well but this was his biggest test.
"He showed what a good horse he is.
"He's amongst the best I've trained."
