Bryan Cooper will miss the Aintree Grand National meeting after picking up two separate bans totalling 15 days on the final day at Cheltenham.
Cooper first fell foul of the stewards in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle when he finished third on No More Heroes.
He was adjudged to have used his whip above the permitted level and was banned for four days, 28-31 March.
In the same race winning jockey Adrian Heskin on Martello Tower was found guilty of the same offence and banned for two days.
However, it was Cooper's ride when third on Road To Riches in the Betfred Gold Cup that was deemed to merit the biggest ban.
He was suspended for another 11 days, 1, 2, 4-6 and 9-14 April meaning he will not be in action in Liverpool where he could have looked forward to the ride on First Lieutenant. He will also miss the Irish Grand National meeting at Fairyhouse.
Cooper declined to comment on the bans.
