Willie Mullins' Champagne Fever is the sole Irish interest in the William Hill King George VI Chase at Kempton on St Stephen's Day, with 10 remaining in the feature event.

Ruby Walsh will be in the plate on last season's Arkle runner-up, who was most impressive when winning the Clonmel Chase last month. The seven-year-old, however, has yet to be tested over the King George trip of three miles.

Last year's winner Silviniaco Conti warmed up for his repeat bid with victory in the Betfair Chase at Haydock in November.

His trainer Paul Nicholls could also be represented by brilliant Ascot winner Al Ferof and Wonderful Charm.

Last season's runner-up Cue Card is again in contention, with connections of Dynaste hoping for better fortune after David Pipe's grey could finish only fifth in 2013.

Philip Hobbs has left in Wishfull Thinking and Menorah, while Paddy Power Gold Cup runner-up Johns Spirit may be given the chance to shine by Jonjo O'Neill.

Double Ross is also still in the hat for the Nigel Twiston-Davies team.
