This afternoon's jumps meeting at Lingfield goes ahead after the track passed a 9.40am inspection.
Clerk of the course Edward Arkell decided to check on conditions after temperatures continued to fall after daybreak, but he has now been able to give the fixture the go-ahead.
Arkell said: "We're all okay and good to go.
"The sun has come out and the temperatures have started to go up.
"We're above freezing now and are looking forward to the afternoon."
