The exciting Annie Power will remain over hurdles this season, according to champion trainer Willie Mullins.

The six-year-old mare has won 11 of her 12 starts all told, suffering her only defeat when runner-up behind More Of That in the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

Connections considered a novice chasing campaign this term, but have decided to remain over the smaller obstacles, although the champion trainer has not yet decided where she will kick off her campaign.

Mullins said: "We've decided she's going to do that (stay over hurdles).

"I don't know where she'll start off."
