Analifet makes a welcome return to the track in the Grade Three Fishery Lane Hurdle at Naas.

The ex-French filly was a leading fancy for the Triumph Hurdle after a couple of bloodless wins at Punchestown and Fairyhouse late last year, but hurt herself when long odds-on for a Grade Two at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting and hasn't been seen since.

Heading the opposition on her comeback is Kitten Rock, who was only just touched off by Analifet's stablemate Ivan Grozny in a Fairyhouse Grade Three before taking a creditable fourth at the top table at the Punchestown Festival, behind another Willie Mullins inmate in Abbyssial.

Mullins has resisted the temptation to start Shaneshill off in the www.naasracecourse.com Maiden Hurdle, but that makes Free Expression's task only slightly easier because he still has 27 rivals to beat.

Nevertheless, the Gordon Elliott-trained five-year-old looked full of potential when landing a hotly contested bumper at the Irish National fixture and is one to follow this season.

Another for whom big things are expected through the winter is Le Vent D'Antan, and he has a crack at the bigger obstacles in the Naas Annual Membership Beginners Chase.

Liz Doyle's stable star may not have hit the heights expected of him over timber but he didn't do a whole lot wrong and promises to come into his own at this discipline.

Owen Mc's development has been delayed by time spent on the sidelines but he reappears in the Book Hospitality On Line Maiden Hurdle, in which The Unsub and Killer Crow are both on retrieval missions.

The veteran Valours Minion attempts to continue his Indian summer in the opening Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Chase at 12.25, while Sir Harry Cash reverts to fences on a comparatively lenient figure in the Thoroughbred County Novice Handicap Chase, and Ruby Walsh keeps the faith.
