The Tullow Tank will have his first race for Dessie Hughes in a beginners' chase at the end of this month.
Connections are hoping the six-year-old, who won two Grade One novice hurdles last year for Philip Fenton, will need just the one outing before heading to Fairyhouse for the Drinmore Novice Chase on 30 November.
As well as The Tullow Tank, owner Barry Connell has several other nice prospects to look forward to such as the Ted Walsh-trained Foxrock, but Mount Benbulben will not make it to the track this season.
"We've had a bit of rain at some of the tracks so some more of the nicer horses will be coming out soon," said Connell.
"The Tullow Tank will be out at the end of October. His main aim in the first half of the season is the Drinmore, so we feel a run at the end of October will put him right for that.
"He'll hopefully just need the one run in a beginners' chase.
"Foxrock will be aimed at the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown at Christmas.
"He's rated 142 now so he'll get in and it's worth something like 250,000 euros.
"He'll probably have a couple of runs in conditions chases beforehand.
"Mount Benbulben picked up an injury at Fairyhouse in February and he won't be back until next autumn, unfortunately. He's rehabilitating."
