Tony McCoy will miss the Irish Grand National on Easter Monday after being handed a four-day suspension by stewards at Aintree.
McCoy was found to have used his whip above the permitted level aboard Diakali in the Doon Bar Aintree Hurdle and was hit with a suspension that will keep him out of action on 17 April and 19-21 April inclusive.
The Fairyhouse highlight will take place on 21 April.
Diakali 13-2 finished third behind winner The New One and the second placed Rock On Ruby after a late surge from McCoy.
