Having his third start over hurdles at Naas, he quickened up impressively to beat Willie Mullins' highly-regarded Turnandgo, which prompted thoughts of this Grade One.
Mullins could run Alonso, Arctic Fire, who slipped and fell last weekend, or Renneti.
Jessica Harrington also appears to hold a strong hand with Mr Fiftyone and Gambling Girl to chose from.
Minella Foru has a tall reputation and has looked impressive in winning his two outings this season, including a victory over Noel Meade's Very Wood last time out, with that one poised to reoppose this weekend.
