Sizing Europe is on course to begin another campaign in the PWC Champion Chase at Gowran on Saturday week.

Henry de Bromhead's stable stalwart will be seeking a hat-trick of victories in the Grade Two contest over two and a half miles, having been successful on his seasonal debut for the last two years.

De Bromhead said: "He seems in good form and we're going to go to Gowran again hopefully and see. That's where we are aiming for at the moment.

"He's always done well there. We'll go there and see after that."

Sizing Europe signed off last term running the brilliant Sprinter Sacre to five and a half lengths in the Champion Chase at Punchestown.

A long way back in third place that day was the 11-year-old's stablemate Days Hotel.

The eight-year-old has three Grade Two chase wins to his credit and could go for a fourth on his likely reappearance in the Irish Form Book Fortria Chase on 10 November.

"He'll probably start off in November in the Fortria Chase at Navan and we'll work from here," said De Bromhead.
