Richard Hannon has declared Anticipated and Shamshon as he bids to win the Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stakes for a fifth time at Newbury on Saturday.

The Herridge handler has claimed the six-furlong Group Two with Mon Fils (1972), Showbrook (1991), Galeota (2004) and Cool Creek (2005) and is represented by two live candidates this time.

Anticipated has taken on the some of the best of his generation, finishing second in the Molecomb Stakes at Glorious Goodwood and unplaced in the Prix Morny on his latest outing.

Shamshon is unbeaten in two starts, the latest coming in a Listed race at Deauville.

Malton trainer Richard Fahey is also double-handed with Rufford and Supplicant in a final field of nine.

Cable Bay, third in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster last weekend, has been given the chance to go two places better by trainer Charlie Hills.

Also in the line-up are Godolphin's Figure Of Speech and Kevin Ryan's Hot Streak, who were second and fifth respectively in the Sirenia Stakes at Kempton.

Paul Cole's Complicit and Trading Profit, trained by Andrew Balding, make up the field.
