Aljamaaheer heads a field of 12 for the Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on Tuesday.
The Roger Varian-trained four-year-old, who still holds an entry in Wednesday's Qipco Sussex Stakes, will carry a 4lb penalty in the seven-furlong Group Two for his recent victory in Ascot's Summer Mile.
Richard Hannon is triple-handed with Libranno, Producer and Professor, while an interesting contender is last season's German 2000 Guineas winner Caspar Netscher.
The four-year-old, formerly with Alan McCabe, will be having his first run for David Simcock after being found to be infertile at stud.
"He's a great acquisition and we're lucky to have a horse like him," Simcock told At The Races.
"He went to be a stallion but was infertile. It turned out to be an insurance case and his previous owner bought him back in a silent auction.
"He's been training very well and is a straight forward horse to deal with. I'm looking forward to running him on Tuesday.
"He's quite big at the moment. I think the run will bring him on plenty, but at the same time I think he will run very well."
Boom And Bust, Fencing, Krypton Factor, Monsieur Chevalier, Pastoral Player, Red Jazz and Garswood make up the dozen-strong field.
