Baily Green remains in such good heart that Mouse Morris is sorely tempted to run him again in the Paddy Power Text 51465 EBF Novice Chase at Cork this weekend.
The prolific six-year-old began his winning spell at Roscommon in May and has gone on to win five more races, including once over hurdles, but it is over the bigger obstacles were he has thrived.
Morris had intended to let him down and bring him back for a spring campaign but with Baily Green bucking and kicking at home another run looks likely.
"I took his shoes off in the hope that it would persuade me not to run him again but he's just so fresh," said Morris.
"With every run he keeps on improving and it seems a shame to stop with him.
"He's been winning in all ground, we thought he wanted it good but he's been winning in heavy.
"He'll probably go to Cork this weekend I'd say, he's in some fettle.
"It's his jumping what does it, he's spectacular for a novice."
