Ryan Moore is unlikely to take any part in the Ebor Festival at York this week after a fall at Warwick on Tuesday evening.
Moore was riding Cresta Star for Richard Hannon Chieftain Fabrics Handicap when they slipped up two furlongs out and came crashing down.
Remedial work was carried out on the bend before the following race but Moore appeared to be fine as he walked back to the weighing room.
However, his agent Tony Hind confirmed he would not be riding at York today and is unlikely to be there all week.
"I saw him walk back to the paddock after the fall and he looked all right," said Hind.
"When I got up at 5am this morning and turned my phone on it bleeped and there was a message off Ryan saying he had injured his wrist and he wouldn't be riding today.
"I rang his house at 7am and spoke to his wife and I wouldn't have thought he'd be riding this week."
Moore's ride on Thomas Chippendale in the Great Voltigeur was by Paul Hanagan.
