The Fugue features in Yorkshire Oaks field

Impressive Goodwood scorer The Fugue heads a select field of seven for Thursday's Darley Yorkshire Oaks at York.

John Gosden's charge bounced back to winning form in the 10-furlong Nassau Stakes at the Glorious meeting last month but will be stepping back up to a mile and a half for this Group One.

She finished third over the trip in the Oaks at Epsom and will clash again win Aidan O'Brien's Was and the Hughie Morrison-trained Shirocco Star, who finished first and second that day.

Morrison's Coquet is the other three-year-old runner in the all-aged heat.

Henry Cecil's Wild Coco forms part of the four-year-old contingent after winning a Goodwood Group Three over 14 furlongs last time out.

Alain de Royer-Dupre's Shareta makes the trip across the Channel after finishing second in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud on her most recent start in June and was second in the Arc to Danedream last season.

The Jessica Harrington-trained Bible Belt completes the line-up.

The Fugue is a best-price 7-4 favourite to land another Group One, with Shareta next best at 100-30.
