John Murphy believes Gossamer Seed has plenty going for her as she aims to get back to winning ways in the Arthur Guinness European Breeders Fund Corrib Fillies Stakes at Galway tomorrow.
The four-year-old won a Group Three on her first start of the season at the Curragh and backed that up with two sound efforts in defeat.
She finished last of all in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot last month, but her trainer is expecting her to bounce back in this Listed event.
"She's had a nice break since Ascot and she's in good shape," said Murphy.
"She's very fresh and well, she has a good draw (stall three) and she'll like the ground, so fingers crossed she runs very well.
"It would be great to have a winner in Galway."
The Ken Condon-trained Marvada showed she could handle testing conditions when landing the Group Three Brownstown Stakes at Naas last month.
Condon said: "She's versatile ground-wise. She goes on faster ground and it was heavy in Naas the last day.
"I think she'll handle Galway all right. She travels well in her races and hopefully she'll be prominent and come up the hill well. We're just hoping for a bit of luck."
