A look ahead to the Friday meeting at Tramore

The first instalment of Tramore's two-day meeting features the jogforjockeys.ie Handicap Hurdle, in which Kilcross Boy is expected to make a bold bid to regain the winning thread.

The 1912-2012 Tramore Racecourse Centenary Beginners Chase presents Ferris Bueller with a step back up in trip, something which he looked crying out for when third over 2m4f at Down Royal last month, although Too Wild For Der and Annie Other will make sure he needs to be at the top of his game to score.

The seven-race cards kicks off at 5.55pm with the Launch Of The August Racing Festival 16th To 19th Maiden Hurdle, in which the Ruby Walsh-ridden Angles Hill will be very popular following a bronze medal at Punchestown.
