Edward Lynam is expecting good runs from course winners Slade Power and Muck'N'Brass at Dundalk on Wednesday.
The pair feature among six horses declared in what looks a decent race for the bookings At dundalkstadium.com Race over seven furlongs.
The well-regarded Slade Power is tackling this longer trip for the first time after two wins over a furlong shorter, one of which came at Dundalk in December.
"He's in good form. We're going to try him over seven furlongs and see how he gets on," said the Meath trainer.
"Most of my horses act on the surface so I don't think that will be a problem, but it's a good little race."
Muck'N'Brass steps down from a mile, having won over that distance on his latest start in January.
"I don't think he'd be as good as Slade Power," said Lynam.
"We're hoping he'll run a nice race. Just looking at the actual race it might be a bit strong for him, but hasn't got a handicap mark.
"He's got to run in a winners' race. This is the only race for him, so we thought we'd run him as well."
