Ante-post favourite Camelot's participation in the Qipco 2000 Guineas could hinge on his progress during the next week or so.
Trainer Aidan O'Brien is happy with the Racing Post Trophy winner but a decision has yet to be made on whether he will line-up at Newmarket on 5 May.
"He's in good form. Everything has gone well with him so far," the Ballydoyle handler told At The Races.
"Obviously we've an eye on the Guineas with him and he's open to all other things."
He added: "The next week to 10 days will tell us a lot more about him, but we're very happy at the moment."
Camelot won both his starts as a two-year-old and is ante-post favourite for the colts' Classic at around 5-2.
