Mullins - Sends Sicilian Secret on a return mission to the Mayo venue

Sicilian Secret was an easy winner of a novice hurdle on his last visit to Ballinrobe, but he tackles open company on his return to the track in the Ballinrobe Races 90th Anniversary Hurdle.

Willie Mullins' charge took an age to open his account over timber but has since won two out of three, though he faces stiff opposition in the shape of Psycho.

Tony Martin's 10-year-old has been a star over hurdles and fences over the years, and showed there's still plenty of zip in him when running out an easy winner at Killarney two starts ago.

Back over timber and favourably treated, he could put his experience to good use, though Deputy Consort and Loch Long could also challenge.

Some promising sorts line up in the Costello McDermott Maiden Hurdle, none more so than Gordon Elliott's Esporao.

The five-year-old pulled hard before going down by less than a length on his last visit to this track and he could have the edge over bumper winner Silver Canyon, while Fantastic Bob ran a cracker on his hurdling debut and is another to note.

The meeting kicks off with the Craic On The Track 14th August Handicap (5.50), with Martin saddling top weight Golan Guy.

The six-year-old plugged on for sixth at Galway last time, but this shorter trip may see him struggle against the likes of Omas Glen and Masdar.

Dermot Weld has opted to fit blinkers on Hisaabaat, and the recent course and distance third looks the one to beat in the McHale Engineering Maiden if the headgear does the trick.

Weld saddles El Toreros in the Burleigh Accountants Handicap, but he may find Fairylike too hot to handle, while Manger Hanagment, A Hit Is A Hit and Regal Obligation all have a decent chance in the Broderick's Electrical Handicap Hurdle.
