Oscars Well will attempt to atone for his unlucky run at Cheltenham in the Evening Herald Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown on 3 May.
A dual Grade One winner earlier in the season, the six-year-old was in front at the last in the Neptune Novices' Hurdle at the Festival when an almighty blunder stopped him in his tracks.
He is dropping back in distance to two miles and is likely to be campaigned with a crack at the Champion Hurdle in mind next season.
‘He goes for the two-mile novice at Punchestown, and I am really looking forward to running him there,’ said trainer Jessica Harrington.
‘He was brought to a standstill after the last at Cheltenham, and I don't know how Robert (Power) stayed on.
‘We will see what happens at Punchestown but at this stage I would say he will then have a nice summer off and come back for another year over hurdles.’
