Golden Silver faces just three rivals in the paddypower.com Chase at Naas on Sunday as he bids to follow up his victory over Big Zeb three weeks ago.

The Willie Mullins-trained nine-year-old finally got the better of his old adversary after four defeats, and appears to have frightened away most of the opposition this time.

‘He's been a good servant and hope that it continues,’ said owner Michael O'Leary.

‘Last time at the start of the race he was terrible, but he had a very good jockey in Paul Townend on him and he gets on terribly well with him.

‘He doesn't force him like a lot of jockeys might try to and lets him come into the race on his own.

‘Maybe if we leave him at the back of the field there is no harm in it, but it's hard to say.

‘He's entered in the Queen Mother Champion Chase and the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham but, at the moment, there is no decision as to which one he'll go for.’
