Michael Stoute has yet to give Glass Harmonium the go-ahead to run in the Emirates Airline Champion Stakes.

The Group Three-winning colt is one of 15 entries for the Group One showdown at Newmarket on Saturday, but has not been seen since June.

Stoute's four-year-old has been absent after having sustained an injury in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Although the Champion Stakes is under consideration, Glass Harmonium also holds an entry in Friday's Richard Hambro Darley Stakes at Headquarters.

Stoute told the Telegraph: ‘It (Prince of Wales's Stakes) was a rough race and he came out of it with a dirty wound.

‘Friday's race is nine furlongs, but he's got a penalty.

‘We'll decide (his target) later in the week.’

Await The Dawn has, however, been confirmed a likely starter.

Ballydoyle's unexposed colt will arrive in England chasing a hat-trick following fluent victories at Cork and Leopardstown.

Indeed, his only reverse in four starts came in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster in September.

‘The plan is that he'll run on Saturday,’ trainer Aidan O'Brien told the Irish Times.

‘We're happy with him.’
